10 Lessons from My Journey: From Employee to Freelancer to Business Owner 

Over five years ago, I stopped being an employee and became a  freelancer, and  a bit later I  launched my own first consulting and  then training company. What I ‘ve noticed:

1. Life Gets Colorful: The boring office routine is behind. Every day brings a mix of highs and lows. It is exciting, but sometimes life could be a bit more stable.

1. Social Skills: I became more outgoing (the introvert inside me sighs 😊).

Sometimes, casual coffee chats lead to meaningful conversations and new clients and ideas. Sometimes, coffee is just coffee.

1. Building a Network: I now connect with driven and ambitious people instead of being surrounded by random colleagues. It’s refreshing to have a network that inspires and challenges me, but
2. Reality Check on Success: social media can make it seem like everyone is crushing it. I am no longer buying what I see. Success looks different for everyone, and it’s not always as glamorous as it seems.
3. It’s About the Journey: Running a business for me is a path and isn’t just about profits; it’s a rollercoaster ride filled with challenges and growth. And honestly, I am happy I dared to transform my life. It was worth it.
