Building a life with a house, career, and family sounds awesome, right? But sometimes, you have to leave everything behind and start fresh. Look at all the people leaving countries due to war.🙌
Picking the place on a map where you want to live is a big deal. And being able to adjust is key.🏆💪⚡️
Some people asked me – what was the most difficult place to live among the 7 countries I lived.⁉️Ok, let me start. Italy 🇮🇹🍕seems dreamy with tourism and the good life, but their immigration process is a total nightmare – very long and very complicated. They protect their job market quite well. London’s🇬🇧 buzzing with opportunities, but it comes with a hefty price tag. I survived the wild ‘90s in Russia – not exactly a safe haven❤️🩹But to be completely honest, it was idyllic Switzerland🇨🇭🇨🇭, with its holy cows🐄 and Alps, that was the trickiest.😤Despite a fancy job offer, it felt like I was on another planet. Plus, crazy expensive!
After trying to fit in, I’ve understood one thing – there are things we can adjust and there are things you cannot‼️. For me, the obstacle was a lack of emotional connection with people. Every time I was connecting, I felt like I was talking to a brick wall🤐So, after two months, I packed my bags and bounced back home. Lesson learned: even after big research and homework, you may not vibe with the place. And the worst thing is to regret, stay and do nothing.
