One of Steppebystep’s main goals is to bring people from Europe and Kazakhstan closer together.
When we think of Europe, we often think of its well-known tourism destinations. However, Kazakhstan has so much untapped potential to offer, and it’s time we change that perception.
First off, Kazakhstan is all about hospitality. I’ve traveled quite a bit; honestly, Kazakhs are some of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Offering food and shelter to strangers was practically a law in the steppes, which is why we have more than 100 nationalities living there. During difficult times like World War II and various conflicts, people found refuge and warm-hearted locals in Kazakhstan.
Secondly, this country is evolving at lightning speed. When I shared pictures of Astana online, I got bombarded with over 100 questions in just one hour. And for good reason – Kazakhstan has amazing spas, theaters, cafes, and a food scene that can rival any European city.( I will dedicate a post to Kazakh food)
Thirdly, Kazakhs know how to have a good time. If there were Olympic Games for entertainment, we’d probably get the top spots. There are endless options for a night out – dancing , singing , and more.
Fourthly, Kazakhstan’s natural beauty is simply stunning. From awe-inspiring mountains to serene lakes, it’s a nature lover’s paradise.
Fifthly, Steppebystep goes beyond borders by organizing retreats that allow you to explore not just Kazakhstan but also neighboring countries like Uzbekistan. These retreats offer a diverse range of experiences, from spa treatments to workshops , wellness activities , dancing , luxury horseback riding , and even skiing . Mark your calendars for December 16-23 and December 25-January 1 for an unforgettable winter adventure in Kazakhstan. Check the website and bio for details. Are you joining?
